Tom & Shannon began Bitterroot Outfitters in 1993 in Hamilton, Montana.
They quickly grew into one of the largest permit holders in the western States, hunting well over 100 square miles of National forest and Wilderness.
In 2007 Bitterroot Outfitters expanded into
Idaho, buying 4 more outfitting businesses, and now operates an ample size area along the Salmon River Breaks. They sold the Montana portion and hunt Idaho only. Hunting units are in 17, 20 and 20A.
Being full time outfitters, Tom and Shannon work side by side from April -Feb . They are kept fairly busy and are in the mountians most of the year. Please have patience with returned phone calls. Emails are checked more often than phone calls.
