WHAT TO BRING ON A GUIDED HUNT

What to Bring
The weight limit is 80 pounds when packing in. This restriction does not apply to your rifle, coat, or the clothing you wear into camp, nor does it apply to food for drop campers.
Hunting clothes should be quiet, i.e. fleece or wool. Blaze orange is not recommended.
If you’re driving and staying at our base camp, there is no limit on what you can bring.
The following is a good pack list:
- Heavy, warm jacket (preferably wool)
- Light jacket
- Baseball cap
- Stocking cap
- Gloves
- Light pants
- Heavy pants
- Light long johns (tops and bottoms)
- Heavy long johns
- Socks and underwear
- Sturdy hiking boots
- Insulated pac boots (air-bob soles work best)
- Camp shoes
- Compressible sleeping bag
- Pillow
- Personal medications
- 2-piece rain gear (not plastic)
- Soap and towels
- Snacks and candy
- External-framed backpack for packing game
- Day pack
- Bic lighters or fire starter
- Head lamp with extra batteries
- 2 water bottles
- Meat bags
- Rangefinder
- Compass/GPS
- Knife
- Binoculars
- Toilet paper in plastic bag
- Box of ammo
